What the Eagle Saw

What the Eagle Saw, my third functional bench design, takes the shape of a bird with open wings, welcoming and sheltering those seated in front of a view, like the Hammond Museum’s Japanese Stroll Garden. Its abstract classical form presents the majestic Bald Eagle revived by conservation in the Hudson River Valley. It echoes the traditional American emblem, with a twist. The title also points to the fact of the seat as witness.
