Curl at NYU Langone

Originally built in bent plywood like a musical instrument, Curl imagines the female body as a spiral. Perhaps reminiscent of a yoga pose, the curving lines balance a clear outer geometry with inner organic vulnerability. Curl was later cast in bronze with a blue patina and selected for the collection of NYU Langone Musculoskeletal Center in NYC, where it might inspire relaxation and supple movement.
