Copper Beech

Copper mesh, steel, mirror, wood, paint, silk, photos, 25’x28’x58’ installation (tree 15’ tall)     Funded with an NEA Creativity Grant in 2003, Copper Beech: People's Trust was commissioned by the Westchester Arts Council for temporary display at the Arts Exchange in White Plains, NY. Complementing the 1930’s neoclassical bank architecture, the work paid tribute to a copper beech tree saved from destruction during urban renewal.
